So it's like a dictionary of names for Middle Earth? still doesn't seem worth it tbh
It is one for the Tolkein bibliophiles, Ted Naismith's illustrations are beautiful.
This looks amazing, thanks OP!
Reflex bought it. Now, what is it?
Book encyclopedia explaining the book world
Got one. Great gift for mum
I LOLd
Fantastic price. Everyone should jump on it at this price, even if you’re not a fan of Tolkien
Don’t need it. Already learned everything from The Rings of Power
If you liked Rings of Power, you're gonna hate Tolkien.
Ha! Brilliant
why
Thats like saying "no need to study rocket science
I watched a video that explains it".

If you don't care about the slipcase, the book is also available in regular hardback for $49: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/000853781X
Sadly this version isn’t a deal at all considering it’s been this price or thereabouts since release. I wish I knew the deluxe would go on a massive sale as I wouldn’t have bought the standard otherwise. It’s easily a bargain at this price point over the standard.
Its concerning that so many things seem to be getting massively discounted..
The next gen Tolkiens seem to be massively cashing in lately. First the Amazon shitshow, then the announcement of more movies, and lots of discounts on books…
can someone tell me what's the difference between this and the big w version? No slipcase, but contents exactly the same?

I might pay the extra $18 for the version with the green hardcover, looks much better if placed on the coffee table…

Wow, that would be useful when reading the Silmarillion. There are a lot of names and history in it.
