    top-rated 3.5⭐️

    Top rated, but 3.5 only⭐️ ?

of all 3.5 star hotels, this is the most 3.5 star hotel

      • +1

It's firmly 3.5 stars. Mean rank? 3.5 stars. Median rank? 3.5 stars. Modal rank? 3.5 stars. Big ol sample size of about 3,500 reviews too. If you want that 3.5 star experience you'll get it here - bit of soap scum in the shower, functioning but noisy aircon, chipping wood veneer on the bedside tables.

Good ol' honest 3.5 star service right here. Gonna make sure it feels like an old but clean home away from home.

Dont forget the massage with the 3.5 ⭐️ happy ending

    • +3

It's a 3.5 star hotel and rated 4/5 on Tripadvisor and also won the Tripadvisor 2022 Traveller's Choice Award Winner. Rated 8.4/10 on Expedia and 4.1/5 on Google Reviews.

I stayed at Ala Moana Mantra before. It is decent for its price. It is right next to a shopping centre so I thought that was neat for all your shopping needs. It is a little bit far away from the main strip though.

    • how long would you say the walk would be to the main strip?

Just checked google about 30 mins

  • +2

For those considering, note this is a bit away from the main strip area (anything further than the Hilton or Ilikai is too far for me), so consider if its right for you.

      Buses every where.

  • Stayed here once. Every person I talked to was from Australia

  • Luggage included with Jetstar?

I don't get Hawaii. Everyone goes on about it so I went there and it sucked. Waikiki just felt like a big Cruise Ship on land with equally bad food, entertainment and people. Maybe I'm spoiled by living in a country with better weather and better beaches, but you can do much more in Bali or Thailand for 1/3rd of the price.

    • I spent a week on the North Shore and got to see the real Hawaii, relaxed, amazing surf beaches, no malls or big crowds.

Waikiki is like the Gold Coast, so I only spent a couple of days there.

      • I spent a week on the North Shore and got to see the real Hawaii, relaxed, amazing surf beaches, no malls or big crowds.

Yeah I went there too. And it was very similar to Australian beaches but much more expensive with worse food. I don't think I'll be going back

  • Pp is per person? I see this a lot on advertised deals. Does this mean there needs to be two people? If one person goes, can they not take these deals? Or do I need to pay extra?

    • You can go alone but you will have to pay more. The reason: Hotels charge by room, not by person – so if they only charged a solo person for their share, they'd be losing out on money when compared to giving the room to two people. This is justified by the hotel due to the fact that the cost of providing and cleaning the room is the same, regardless of how many people are in it.

      • Can you provide a breakdown of hotel cost and flight per person , twin share

  • Anyone know where expedia.com.au payment merchant located? Australia? Have anyone tried this with credit card with international transaction fee one? (Not 28degrees card)
Just trying to decide which card need to be used.
Booking.com merchant is in Amsterdam, so 28degrees cc will be needed to avoid international transaction fee.

  • Deal's over? I see $2799 pp, checked a few dates in June and July
