  • Less than half-price on Aliexpress.

Do they only cut half your whiskers?

      Link please

Search by "Philips Oneblade Replacement Blade".
I buy whichever is under $4 USD per blade.

        • +6

I bought some off Kogan, and they didn't cut anything!

They were so bad! I demanded a refund!

Don't buy anything but original! The fakes will simply rip your hairs out!

            @[Deactivated]: Mines working fine though

            • @UncommonName: Do you have baby fluff on your face?

I couldn't even shave over my face once with a brand new blade.
They offered me half a refund, then they gave me a full refund.

              The blades were useless!
I can't imagine fake AliExpress blades being better.

I spose for that price, you could try one.

@[Deactivated]: I agree with you Adelv. I bought some cheapies from ebay and they were useless. Didnt cut at all and only yanked a few hairs. After 1 try I demanded a refund. After I got my refund I threw them in the bin. They were really unusable.

            @[Deactivated]: Don't say that. You'll get negged.

        • +1

Right. So fakes then. This just in, fakes cheaper than genuine. More news at 11.

$14/blade not as good as previous lows of $12.60 per blade
    and for 3 pack

  • How often should these be replaced? Still on my first blade and seems like it works fine still

    • +4

A year later I'm still on my first with 2 to 3 shaves a week

    • +1

It seems to vary significantly, mine barely last a month.

    • Yer there is a green indicator but I keep going for a couple of months per blade after they turn green

  • +1

Generally I get 8 months, with 1-2 shaves a week!

6 blades would last forever, I wouldn't mind a 3PK at a decent price tho!

I paid $41 in January for 2, I was desperate after ordering from Kogan and receiving fakes.

Didn't see a sale for ages, tho December they were $13 each in a 3PK like currently.

  • shame not 3 pack, 6 is just too many

    • +1

      3pk is $46? It's still pretty good
      I paid $41 for 2

      Even at $12-13 each, that's $42-46
So $46 is still a solid price!

I'm tempted but I got 1.5 blades spare, so good for another 12 months

I had always been considering OneBlade or safety razor, decided to go with safety razor. Shave is clean and the blades are cheap, $25 for 100 blades.

    • +1

I returned OneBlade after one shave. Then went back to electric and Aldi 6 blade Prince razors. Then tried double edge safety razor. There is no comparison. DE razor gives the smoothest BBS shave, there is no irritation, and it’s the cheapest.

    • +3

+1 for DE razor. The cheapest and cleanest/smoothest cut IMO. Better for the environment.

You can get 100 blades for $20 on Amazon. A reusable DE razor you can find decent one for $25, or spend $100 for a fancier one. It's not for everyone, but I think more people would use it if they knew about it.

    • +2

I would also lean towards a DE razor. The shave itself is super cheap, could absolutely do it with a Dove beauty cream bar soap especially in these trying times. The shave gets exponentially luxurious depending on the shaving soap and aftershave for not all that much money.

Previously have been using Gillette razors and using a DE safety razor was truly eye opening, would absolutely recommend it over a Phillips One Blade.

  • The Philips is good but replacement blades are…ouch

    • +3

Great shaver but worst part about it is not being able to reverse the head. For me the top blade gets way more action than the bottom so being able to reverse them would allow me to distribute the wear and get more life per blade

      • im able to reverse mine

  • Ok, you guys just blew my world. Never heard of this one blade before. Recommendations on the best model for shaving? I don't need to "groom" anywhere else.

  • Philips One Blade 6 Pack

    Is it 1 or 6?

  • This shaver good for downstairs??

    • +1

Perfect for double story houses, portable

    • No, it has bad reviews for that kind of shaving. I've not tried… Works great for your face though

    • I got the one blade pro from Costco with the body kit, it is fantastic for trimming downstairs, no nicks.

    • It has a special kit that you buy separately. That kit has a blade with a built-in skin guard. Works for me.

  • They're 6$ each on AliExpress

    • Fakes, yes.

      • Only bought one to try, packaging looks original. Haven't tried it yet..

  • This is so confusing… Is it 2, one or 3? ;)
