My v15 works extremely well for my house. I was looking at Miele but cordless wise, Dyson has been wonderful.
I got the V8 plus for $423 the other day.

@Korban Dallas: (profanity) yeah, for normal use, it is awesome. I do major clean ever 3 years (took it all apart and clean every part, new filter). but I wont be using it as the only vacuum in a house, you need longer run time ones, (unless do the conversion).

All Dyson vacuums have a HEPA filter I'm pretty sure
HEPA is only on Complete version I believe.

When I say "direct from Dyson" doesn't means direct from their Website. But directly buy from Dyson, not reseller like BingLee or Good Guys.
The link I posted earlier is for Dyson eBay where the voucher code can be applied.
Direct from Dyson can be dyson australia or Dyson.com.au.
Only buying from the latter gives you these attachments, but of course it means you dont get the $150 afterpay code discount. But some people don't like afterpay, they would be better off buying direct to get this bonus. (there should be other ebay codes, for plus members)

Both models come with the fluffy cleaner (for wooden flooring) and the motorbar (carpets, other hard floor).

My dust mite allergy is quite severe, so I would never rent/own a home with carpet, for example, and treat mattresses and upholstered furniture with the above spray on a quarterly basis.

Just wondering… i like dyson as well and own dc59. I dont think i can justify spending almost 1k on vacuum cleaner. Am i missing somthing?
This is just my personal opinion.
It's probably similar question whether it's worty to spend $2k on new iphone while other brand has sub $1k phones.
I moved from Dyson V6 to Samsung Jet 60 last year. While Jet 60 has advantage of newer technology, the build and feel is just not the same.
Shame there isn't a good deal on the V12. Has on/off switch rather than trigger, and is lighter. Smaller bin, but that doesn't bother me.
Get a Henry vacuum. Will last longer and clean better. No gimmicks or rediculous costs.
Is v15 much better than v10? Currently v10 is on sale for $799 so with 15% discount is ~$679. Not sure if v10 has hair anti-tangle as v15, this would be good improvement compared to my old DC59.
