    From the T&Cs…

The Voucher entitles you to $20 off the pre-coupon purchase price when you spend $150 or more (excluding postage costs) on Eligible item(s) listed on eBay.com.au

Just noticed that and it's weird because the email says $50, the picture in the email says $150, the conditions of the T&C says $50 and then the voucher conditions says $150.

So even Ebay's not sure of if it's $50 or $150

You spend $50 on tech to get a "$20 Voucher". The "$20 Voucher" has a minimum of $150 spend.

      • Ahh that make sense, thank you for clarifying.

      • +3

Ergo, you need to spend a total minimum of $200 to qualify…which equates to only a 10% discount.

        • +1

          Not sure why they bother

        • The first $50 after any discount, so if you use $5 monthly voucher on $55 item, end up with $205 with $25 discount, or around 12%

          • +1

@mfu: These vouchers are BS because:
            * You can't use any discounts/promos other than it
            * Half the time they come up saying not eligible (recent example is the black friday vouchers)

Does tech include Aukus submarines. How many vouchers do I get for a 368 billion spend?

    • You get $50 billion off your retrofit to 1930s era diesel engines.

    • Holy crap is it really $368 billion????

      • +2

Unless you can find a lightly used one that was only sailed by a little old lady on Sundays…should be a bit cheaper.

        • With a walking stick left inside :)

      • Don't worry dude it's not taxpayer money - Albo stopped in Florida to pick up the $368 billion bank cheque.

govt only wants you to know how many jobs they are creating. Not how much it cost us… Imagine all these spend on welfare and healthcare

      • By my count its maybe $20b for various infrastructure, $55b for 11 subs (Virginia class costs about $5b AUD each), and $293b allocated to jobs for the boys (at $14m each). Almost enough money to pay for east coast high speed rail 3 times over.

    • Billions more spent to keep those things running. Pls pick up Julian Assange the next time Albo visits the US, ty.

    Pretty much $20 for $200 spend = 10%

    " Eligible item(s)" :(

  • There's also another similar deal.

      $20 off $300+ Spend? Yeesh

      • Depends how you look at it.

I bought something I needed a week ago with the 17% off promotion and that qualified me for both the $20 off $150 spend and $20 off $200 spend coupons.

I already got a great deal so the coupons are just a bonus 'up to 13.33% off' and 'up to 10% off' on future purchases.

        • +1

Except the coupons never end up being worthwhile, there's always a better sale on that beats the worthless coupon

          • @spackbace: The great thing about these coupons is that they seem to work with listings from all eBay stores, most of which never take part in any 10/12%, 15/17% & 20/22% promotions. You also have the added benefit of long expiry and with Jack not coming to play it can end up being an even better deal.

    Not a very tasty carrot.

eBay marketing team staff need to be retrained…

    • Yeah they are getting a bit over-comfortable with the ridiculous $150 min spends for a measly $20
