Can we use these cards to buy another gift card elsewhere?

You'd be wasting your time trying. There's a good range of retailers listed so should be covered for most things.

  • +1

I think you can use the Coles Mastercard from deal below to buy the Ultimate Everyone gift card
I haven't tried but can someone please confirm if this is also possible at self-checkout?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/762123

    • you can buy effort and risk of coles mastercard getting hacked before you use them

    • Too much could go wrong like it not working or being hacked.

    • Let's say I don't get hacked and nothing goes wrong - has anyone worked out the answer to this?

      • +1

It worked for me on 24/11/2022, used small balance of coles mastercard then westpac cc for the rest.
        Not sure about now

  • +1

Have they fixed the bug with the points issue yet or do you still need to call up to have the bonus points issued?

    • on the last one I got points instantly for variable load so I would say yes

  • -1

one transaction per day per Rewards Member!!!

    • yep as usual

  • Can you use these in combination with the JB Hi fi voucher you get for signing up on the telstra plans?

    • +1

I haven't done it but you should be able to. The Telstra deal voucher should just be a regulation JB gift card. You just need to split the payment at register for however much the gift card is and then use these for the balance.

  • +1

Thanks. Getting the Dining one to use at my local cafe which doesn’t accept Amex……

    • +1

You should get the restaurant choice gift card. New subscribers get $10 off $100, can be added to digital wallet

  • Can i change it to psn cards at EB games?

    • Yes. You can buy whatever is currently sold at eb

  • can i use the DIY improvement card at appliancesonline or kogan?

  • Be weary that many of the retailers listed on Ultimate gift cards don't actually work for online transactions even if the Ultimate gift card website says it does. The big 3 that most people use them for are fine, but once you step out of those most of the other shops don't actually work. Kind of scammy tbh.

    • +1

      The website is clear

You just need to sort which one can be used in-store or online

      • It's clear but wrong / fraud.

I have posted here about some of the listed retailers that don't work https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/756339

        • +1

not sure why you got negged

can agree some of it is not right but I wouldn't say it is fraud

        • I've used Ultimate Her at Forever 21 and it works well

    • Some of retailers have to convert their own digital GC through Myprepaidcentre.com.au. E.g. Anaconda.

Some of retailers can use it like a prepaid visa e.g. TGG and JB.

Anyway, this is my favourite GC.

  • Got 9 Gift Cards just now and 90k points are reflecting in the app immediately. Make sure to check on the counter as it shows how many points you will get on the POS.

Now, any idea where can I use the everyday rewards? I have seen Woolies & Big W. Are there any more stores where I can redeem them?

    • +1

Assuming you redeem your Everyday Rewards points for Everyday Rewards Dollars:

Everyday Rewards dollars = money off in-store and online at Woolworths, Everyday Market from Woolworths, BWS, BIG W and participating EG Ampol (operated by EG Australia).

    • can be converted to Qantas' Points

Yes, I like the instant show-up of Everyday Rewards Points while Flybuy Points need to wait for up to days for my last 3 purchases. It was too late when I realised I needed to do multiple transactions to get multiple activated bonuses. I thought they could be stacked but I was wrong.

  • What is the rough conversion of everyday points to dollar value?

    2,000 points = $10 Flybuys dollars

    • +2

2000 Everyday Rewards Points = $10 Everyday Rewards Dollars

  • Has anyone had difficulties using an ultimate everyone card?

I loaded up a $270 card planning to buy 2 x $135 PSN vouchers from JB Online)

First one went through fine but can't get the second to go through (also tried EB Games and Google Pay with no luck).

I'm guessing if I trot down in person it'll still work? Just a bit of a hassle as not super close to one

    • check balance first

but why didn't you buy both vouchers in one go?

  • With the 10 cards per transaction limit, does that include the variable load card too? That is you can get 10 x $500 variable load cards.

    • 10x $500 is possible provided they'll let you buy that many in one go. It all comes down to the the store's own policy. Some will balk at $200 whilst others will put through $5,000 no problem.

    • Regular staff can approve up to $2000 once over that need a store manager.

Usually they go home by 4-5pm so you need to go before then

  • Looks like they still haven't closed the loophole that lets you do two transactions in one day provided one is at a Woolworths Metro. Might be helpful if you're in the city and can't find enough cards at one location.

  • +1

Think I stuffed up. Got 3 x $500 cards. The cashier had trouble putting all 3 through together so he did them separately. Didn’t click that it had to be in one transaction until I was walking away, D'oh. Only got bonus points for one of them. Will be ringing the rewards centre on Monday to see if they can fix it for me.

    • +1

They will likely credit you the points. I've seen it happen to a number of people and they all got them credited because Woolworths staff forced them to do multiple transactions.

      • That’s what I’m hoping for. If not c'est la vie. There’s a time stamp on the receipts that show transactions were straight after each other.

        • Yeah but it might be easier to just go to a different store than chasing up over the phone later. I ran into the same situation today so just went to another store after a 10 min drive.

          • @truetypezk: Too late to go to a different store as I’ve already made the purchase.

      • +1

Rang customer service and got my points. Told me next time to ask for managers approval if above register limit.

  • +1

Just to share with my recent purchases on the ultimate everyone variable gc for 3 out of 4 transaction I got the 20x points instantly. The 4th one I got a point per dollar which is wrong (this was at a Metro Woolies store compared to regular Woolies store) and would need to call up to get the difference in 2 weeks.

  • This thread is maybe a bit older so I'm hoping someone will still see this and reply… trying to 'go to deal' but the link takes me to some flyers on the Woolies site.

I'm about to buy a fridge with Good Guys and would like to use this gc deal, but I'm wondering if I need to track the cards down in person and not buy electronically?

Also, while I'm buying with Good Guys, are there any other stacks I should be aware of?

    Thanks!

    • +1

I need to track the cards down in person

      This

      • +1

I called around a few woolworths, my local had heaps of variable load ones. Bought 4300 worth in one transaction and the rewards dollars tracked instantly.

        • +1

wow, a local let you put through $4300 in one transaction? lucky

          • +1

@googoogaga: As per the terms it said limit of 10 cards. I only had 9 😅, redeemed them all at jb hifi today but had issues with using such high value cards at jbs. Better to split into 2.5k purchases if you can.

  • How do I use this in webjet.

    • You need to go into the store pay press credit card and pin.

  • +1

Purchased $2,000 worth (spread between 7 gift cards - max of 10 per transaction) in one transaction at one of the local Woolworths today (last day of promo) and was credited the 40,000 Everyday Rewards straight away.

It prompted them to ask for business details first up (I think because they must have a trigger when $1,000 or more of gift cards is purchased. Then after about half hour or so of one of the workers doing checks to make sure they could put it though, finally got out of there.

I initially thought it threw up the prompt because I went to use Everyday Pay which I thought may have been interpreted as paying with gift cards (or like something similar) but the worker said it was to do with the $1,000 threshold. I decided just to scan the Everday Rewards barcode and pay normally (Apple Pay of Visa bank card for me) just in case Everyday Pay wasn’t helping plus there’s no extra points multiplier for these gift card purchase transactions anyways.

One thing I would like to know is has anyone actually purchased gift cards whilst also using the Everyday Extra 10% once a month discount?

I told the lady not to worry about it when she prompted because the terms and conditions on the Everyday app says the 10% discount caps out at $500 and also gift card transactions have the discount voided so didn’t wanna risk 40,000 points also somehow disappearing as well lol.

  • +1

I bought 4x$500 Ultimate Everyone GC and received 40,000 points instantly.
And I used it for LG 42" C2 Evo OLED TV today.
    Was good timing!

  • I bought 2x$500 and not surprisingly didnt get the point. But it says it could take up to 14 business days so I patiently waited 14 calender days because, i think, hey don't they do business everyday?
I don't like talking so I use the Help and Support function on the app. The chatbot is useless in this case, so I just said "talk to human" and very soon a human(supposingly) replied and reaffirmed me to wait 14 Business days.
As such I waited impatiently for 6 more days and again not surprisingly no points show up. Help and Support here we go again. This time all human are busy so I have no choice but to dial the phone. Within minutes someone picked and credited the points. yay!
A small bit of hassle I am fine with. The response is reasonably quick. I just don't like to check the balance everyday. Next time I would avoid the variable load.
