I asked a similar question in another deal; and some one said it was an easy process
Go through Amazon AU. If you go via Amazon USA, it will be unpleasant.
My only concern is, Amazon USA used to be really great years ago. Could Amazon AU follow USA's footstep a few years from now?
I'm currently busy with a return for something DoA purchased on AmazonAU (sold by AmazonUS), the only return option was ParcelPoint. I dropped the item at ParcelPoint on Monday, its now Saturday and there is no indication of where the item is and ParcelPoint give you nothing to say yes it is in their system. Its probably 50/50 AmazonUS will receive the item and I will get a refund.
Thats another thing, refund is the only option, items on AmazonAU (sold by AmazonUS or AmazonUK etc) there is no replacement option, only refund and buy again even if the price has increased since.
It would be mostly price decrease in most cases, so should be fine as long as they refund without issues.

If you look at the return label there should be a tracking number on it. It doesn't actually say tracking number but I believe it will start with a 'P' from my past experiences. Hopefully that helps.
On the Amazon app find the order you are returning and click on "view return label and instructions" and look for the number above the barcode on the return label.
Like reactor-au, the return I've done through AmazonAU (sold by AmazonUS) had return option as only ParcelPoint and similarly got no confirmation or receipt like you would returning with AusPost. However, my refund got processed the next day.
Hey how long ago was that? More than a week now and no refund for me.
It was about a month ago now. Hopefully you get the refund soon mate.
I find it funny that 'lpx' which presumably means low profile based on the RAM range now means an SSD with a huge heatsink
The LPX version has a small heatsink to fit PS5, compared to the normal version.
2TB is $267.74
What kind of warranty options are there with Amazon US stuff? Will Amazon Australia take the returned item? Anyone had this experience?
A quick search of their T&Cs reveals the vague statement that overseas products warranty "may not apply and may not be covered".
