  • may be deal removed by ebay as the code link doesn't work

Everything is jacked, and nothing is eligible, another useless ebay deal

  • +3

You didn’t know that eBay now stands for ‘Eligible Bullshit All Year’?

    • usually like that. It's only good when big stores join in like Big W's switch sales

  • +3

Tried on multiple items and none of them work. Everything that is eligible is garbage and jacked

  • only find for now is reolink stuff is eligible -
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/392214930294 NVR is $306 ($363 on their website)
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393635293390 NVR + one 811a goes for $465
It was just a bit more with 17% discount couple of days ago, but still…

Doesn't work on a reciprocating saw I bought yesterday. I feel much better now

Sorry guys, I was only trying to share the upcoming promo. I had no idea what eligible items or sellers would be included.

    • +3

Not your fault mate, thanks for sharing :)

    • +1

      thanks for sharing still

    • +1

Dont be hard on yourself and cheers for sharing. It's ebay that should be apologising for their continuous jacked up sales.

  • lol - this was $889 yesterday and it $1000 now :-)

    • How do you find when the prices have been jacked?

      • simply check the price before and after…

        • ok so you are just looking at something before this deal and then checking after?

no worries, thought you had some way of seeing previous prices before it gets jacked

  • Trying to find something to use coupon…

    • I purchased something from Baseus with another code which offered a bigger discount than this one lol

  • +3

haha - item advertised as $1299 but $899 after coupon has now had that coupon removed, but still saying $899 after coupon. This 20% coupon works with it though, making it only $140 more expensive than it was yesterday, haha.

For those who can't get the link to work try this one:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/20-off-tech-cbt-mar2…

    • It's not the link that doesnt work but the pretence that eBay thinks its a sale

      • Whilst I agree with the sentiment, the web link posted doesn't work for some people / web browsers including myself. But I found the full link works in all browsers.

    • cheers mate, it is very helpful

  • got some fake grass for the cat run, cheaper than others and no sign of Jack

Does this 'fake' deal deserve a negative vote?

lol at eBay promos (No offence to OP)

  • And people negged me for negging this yesterday

Users here are generally emotional voters and lack justification. Honestly sometimes it paints a poor demographic of the average human's ability for logic/rational thought. Users shouldn't be able to neg a comment without justification. If it's a good enough process for a deal, it's a good enough process for a comment.

  • +1

Wish ebay could put a freeze on all prices when these "sales" come around. Might mean there would be a genuine discount for the buyers for once.

  • Mostly marked up junk that is cheaper elsewhere. eBay's promo department need to have a long hard look at themselves…

  • Anyone know if these sort of codes work with accepted "Best Offers"?
