This is a business-grade monitor so not something you'd want to do gaming on. It's a VA panel but that's not a bad thing if you're only staring at spreadsheets and emails all the day long. It has USB-C upstream so can probably daisy-chain with other monitors.

If you're looking for a 34" curved screen for work use this should be pretty good. We use Lenovo 24" panels in our offices and they're pretty solid performers.

Edit: if you're a member of Rewards Gateway you may also be eligible for 8% cashback. It's a sale item so I can't confirm, I had a similar claim knocked back from Dell before but they plainly state in the T&Cs that sale items are excluded. The Lenovo T&Cs don't mention this.

  • Put the resolution in the title, WQHD (3440 x 1440)

Thanks, I forgot to put that in the title. I'll fix that now.

This 34" Ultrawide Dell is cheaper and better specs (144Hz, HDR 400) though doesn't have USB-C connection

Yeah, USB-C might be important for some people (like myself). There are also a lot of comments in the Dell deal for panels with dead pixels. I haven't seen one of these Lenovo 34" Ultrawides before but of all the other monitors I've seen from them I've never had a dead pixel. A few monitors that died completely, but that's to be expected when you have a fleet of over 2000 to manage and they never get turned off.

Probably a better comparison with the Dell S3423DWC. Looks like this Lenovo model has higher brightness (350 nits vs 300 nits), but older USB 3.1 ports (vs 3.2 in the Dell) and DP 1.2 (vs DP 1.4 in the Dell).

Couple of extra tech specs here

    • 350 nits
    • 75W PD via USB-C
    • VA screen
    • USB-C cable in the box

    • Was looking for that PD value. Thanks!

  • No idea why you would get this over the Dell 3423DWC or 3422DWG. Both are vastly superior monitors for the same price.

    • +1

As noted above the 3422DWG lacks USB-C connectivity. Arguably the 3423DWC is possibly a better screen but it's not currently on sale at the moment.

  • Putting price aside, anyone use or have a Lenovo G34w-30 34" Monitor?
