    Darn just bought the 55 inch C835 (being delivered tomorrow).. will JB refund the difference somehow? A man can wish…

      There is a price guarantee. I am not sure for how long, but if I am not mistaken it's 30 days from the day of purchase. You can go instore and ask for the price difference. But because this deal ends 8 a.m tomorrow, it's a bit hard. Maybe try their online department to see what they can do. Make sure to take a screenshot of the price. Good luck.

        So good news. Thank you again for your advice. I went on to the chat, sent the screenshot and questioned how long 'price guarantee' works and was advised that coupons are not inclused when it comes guaranteeing price. However, since no one was available to assist with this questions, i got a partial refund (98% of the differnce)

    The 75 C735 is also worth a look at $1440.75 with the Perks discount, good TV- a lot better backlight control (local dimming but not Mini-LED), processing improvement and sound if someone is willing to pay the extra. TCL 75 C735

      You are right on that. Thanks for the link, for anyone interested. The only reason I didn't include it in the post, it's because I was trying to keep the price low, but also value for money.

      A great price. Although, buying it knowing the c835 went for $55 more, even though it was a price error, would just leave a bad taste in my mouth.

      Yea I can't decide between the C735 and the C835. Since the deal is only to 8am I won't be able to go to the store and have a look myself

    I've looked at the TCL mini led a couple of times now and have almost pulled the trigger but I can't get past the 2.5 star energy rating and
    587 kWh consumption. It's double the plasma it would replace and double OLED and most backlit LED panels. That's about a $100 per year more to run which soon sees the saving evaporate.

      Anecdotal but somebody posted that it's because the brightness is set very high out of the box and allegedly, it doesn't need to be.
