Not negging the poster, but you could buy the physical bluray for not much more $$.

To be fair, when you buy a streaming version of a movie, it's just a long term rental
When you buy a physical version it's a long term: find storage space in your house, hope your kids don't scratch the disc, hope the disc doesn't magically go missing/stolen.
Each to their own but for me digital is far more convenient and readily available
@tequilatime: Blu rays have scratch-resistant coating. Any significant scratch on one of those is borderline intentional.
As is the way of the world, discs won't be stolen in 2023. Storing a disc (or many) can be done on a bookshelf. Storing them here when not us use will prevent them from going missing.
If your kids are desperately after a copy of reservoir dogs, put it elsewhere.

Yes of course. My comment was to clarify the deal is $7.99 to buy option, not the $3.99 to short term rent option.

I don't think it's worth $7.99 for such an old movie. It is on netflix atm all be it a sub, but seriously???? It belongs in a $2 bargain bin in a shop.
