This pack could be a better option -

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/74950

While it doesn't contain 16 AA batteries, it does contain 12AA and 4AAA plus a charger and other useful stuff and probably represents all round better value.

    • That's what I was thinking too. The one in this link is a better deal.

No deal. Wait for DSE for the 8 pack deal for $20.

16 via this method is only $45 including $5 postage, aussie stock too.

      • Correct, foobar. I bought 2 x 8 packs of sparklies the other day and it came to $45 including postage ($22.50 per pack).

Ah nice, glad so many seemed to take advantage of that deal. I've personally never bought the glitter variety, haven't needed them when they come on special. Maybe next time.

The ones in the above link aren't the sparkly type, but still the same battery and 16 will only cost $45 delivered which is still better than this deal. They've been discounted for a while now, was expecting they would have gone back up by now but haven't.

  • Yeah I agree with other comments here. It's certainly not a bad deal but just not the best bargain to be had. The difference at the end of the day is about $5 or so though so if anyone was hanging out for some Eneloops you may as well jump on this deal as it almost gets over the line as one of the best deals to be had.

    +1 for effort

  • Hey guys, how do Eneloops compare to these Duracell batteries?

    http://shop.target.com.au/duracell-rechargeable-aa-4-pack-ba…

    • Do some googling on the eneloops and you'll find out why they're highly regarded :)

      • wasn't there like a long lasting sex ad with these Eneloops ? lolz

    • I'm not sure on Duracell rechargeables, but I have heard Energizers are absolutely shocking - so to speak. Eneloops are widely regarded as the best NiMh rechargeables. Considering Eneloops are about the same price for a 4 pack (http://junglejumble.com.au/sanyo-eneloop-4x-aaa-nimh-recharg…) you should just stick with Eneloops.

    • Those aren't low self discharge. Duracell do make LSD batteries, and they're quite good…I have some & they're very close to my Eneloops as far as performance goes.

  • apparently ..Sanyo is the best thing.. just got my pack from Amazone..
