[VIC] 4-Day Park Pass - 2023 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix (Child 3-14 Years) $20 + $5.65 Handling Fee @ Ticketmaster

121

This seems pretty cheap for a 4 day pass park to the grand prix. I'm not sure if these are reseller tickets from ticketmaster. Mods if this deal isn't correct, please remove it.

Thu 30 March - Sun 2 April 2023 Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit, Albert Park, Victoria

Your entry to and presence at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix (Event) is subject to the Attendance Conditions published at www.grandprix.com.au and displayed at entrances to the Event, the Australian Grands Prix Act 1994 (Vic) (Act) and all applicable regulations made under the Act.

Junior and Concession tickets may require to show proof of age upon entry into the circuit. Those who are not 14 or under on a junior ticket will be removed from the venue and an upgrade will be required for re-entry.

All children between 2 and 14 must purchase a Junior ticket to the event

Bet all the 2 year olds must be pestering their parents now to let them attend the grand prix.

    • I nagged my parents when I was 8 in 1990

      • By my maths that makes you at least 12 now

        • +1

          Close, 13.

You could be a high school teacher in Adelaide with that intelligence :)

  • +2

Pity adults can’t get a ticket unless you’ve got one already!

  • +4

Couldn't pay me enough to take a younger kid who'll only wanna go home all day.

Regardless, nothing to do there, bring it back to where it belongs….

    • Perth?

      • Back? Never was there.

No one would go regardless. You get friends and family at the Cricket. Only Vic and SA support things nowadays.. Sorry :)

        • +2

Ahh, I remember the "Kick-a-Vic" campaign.

@billabong: I don't mind em, obviously still bitter about this. Not gonna lie. Never enjoyed it in Melbourne, have been to a fair few. Not something you could take a non F1 fan, like wife and kids IMHO. Adelaide had and still has that with the 500. Very different atmosphere.

@scuderiarmani: If only OTR were not such a dominance now.

They seem to own or want to own everything.

Adelaide F1 was brilliant, just joking about Perth. ;)

@billabong: To their credit, they tried to poach it twice during Covid I believe. Albeit to be held at the Bend.

No way in hell I'd go there. Seen it on TV once, my God, what a bore.

I believe Drag Racing is due to go there at some stage, I'll never go. I went all the time in the past, also had many family competing.

    • Adelaide ?

      • Well, back, being there before, yes.

    • Narnia ?

        129k record crowd in 2022.

        Cute.

Bit over half Adelaide's all time record that stood for 10 odd years in 1995 on a smaller track without the Netflix bandwagon.

        • You can blame the SA government for it ever leaving Adelaide in the first place.

Yeh, gonna off-load my rugrats for four days for $25.65. Bargain…. watch the news later for consequences.

I identify as 14 years old come the Grand Prix weekend

    Handling fee for handling what?

    • +1

I'd love the day when ticket prices are just that.

Just include it ffs. It'll sound better anyway IMHO.

They have been so scummy wiith how they handled tickets with "in demand pricing" and doing a drip feed release to artifically increase scarcity.

    • Give it some time, 2021 was an anomaly. 2022 is how boring most seasons are. The bandwagoners will jump off.

    • +4

Agree. They did a scumming thing by pretending to release extra grandstand and general admission tickets on feb 8th. Wasted over 1.5hr of my life trying to get grandstand tickets when there were non. 30mins later i noticed that the 4 day park pass appeared. But there was a catch! Instead of being $250, the price increased by $125 to $375 and had the "in demand" heading. Ticketmaster and the grand prix organiser are a bunch of scumbags!

What they did is basically ticket scalping.

May be worth a try as I’ve never had to show ID/proof for a concession ticket at a sports venue including the Grand Prix.

  • Can these be upgraded to an Adult ticket?

    • No

  • +1

Someone check hotel prices before going to Melb on weekend 31/03 - 2/04 for whatever reason. Bloody outrageous.

Pitch a tent in the infield draped with some sponsors flags, then act like you belong there.
