$19 for a quarter is OK by me.

      for a quarter

      sounds like buying drugs

      • 7 grams

  • I’d rather buy a good usb 3.2 thumb drive

    • True actually, at this capacity it's a bit weird having a full sized drive

      • +2

But you wont get those transfer speeds

        • +3

          And the durability, too

        • I recently purchased a Samsung Fit 256GB USB 3.1 drive, it's quite small, compact and convenient and I was super impressed with the transfer speeds. If I was transferring large amounts of data I would get a drive similar to the one advertised here, but for 256GB this drive's size is overkill nowadays.

a good usb 3 doesnt exist at this price point. the closest would be a samsung dual/flash fit

USB 3.2 Gen2 flash drives are really expensive, but the USB 3.2 Gen1 flash drives are quite affordable these days. The Toshiba XC10 is a USB 3.2 Gen2 SSD drive.

There are 3 different types of USB 3.2.
USB 3.2 Gen1 is the old USB 3.0 and renamed as USB 3.2 Gen1 (5Gbps) after the launch of USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20Gbps)
      USB 3.2 Gen2 is the old USB 3.1 (10Gbps)

Not to be confused with USB 4 (uses USB-C port connector) and so on… Also Thunderbolt 3 and 4 (both uses USB-C port connector) would another story.

      • So Instead of naming them 3.0 and 3.1, they renamed it has 3.2 gen1 and 3.2 gen2. Makes completely sense - not.

  • Only found 1 review and it wasn’t a good one.

      They’re probably just jaded.

Eh not bad, $28.29 delivered to use on a Series X for some of the smaller games

    • You're gonna struggle on 250gb.

      • Anything extra is good!

    • I thought you need an Xbox branded one? Or do you mean for xone games?

      • Yeah just anything that doesn't need the full speed of the genuine expansion card. Goldeneye etc etc

        • Oh ok. Is there a way to know which would work? Or is it just xone games and no native xsx? Maybe goldeneye is a native xone release?

@Dan83: Just anything that's not Series S/X enhanced basically

Get the Sandisk 1tb e30 ssd for $99 at officeworks or Amazon.

    • Over five times the cost and half the speed. Brilliant… NOT.

      • You should always account for shipping. So it's just 3 times.

Speed? What are you? A speed demon?

  • Good deal considering other stores selling it around 60$. Thanks OP !!

    • Should have done a price match at Office Works then 🤺

This looks like a great deal, however is only showing as available to buy 'in-store' for me (and that store is in Bendigo)

    • It seems it got sold out really quickly. I posted it at the time when they got stock over at the majority of the Victorian stores and available to purchase online.

      • And many kind thanks for that

  • +2

Only Bendigo left for click-and-collect and shown to have the item in stock

  • $19.23

    Thank you for the post

  • Cute, looks like an old fashioned cigarette box that pops up when opened.
