    Don't know about that, technically because it's a P2 mask it should protect. However this masks are better to be used for professionals to protect them from sanding, dusting, grinding or combustion and low toxicity mists. A lot of people don't know or understand the importance of safety.

      Dad and I are unvaccinated. I'm a full time carer for him and we rarely leave the house anyway.

      However, we plan to relocate to Western Europe in the next few months and wondering if these will come in handy for the travelling bit, especially on the plane.

      Genuinely considering these for the situation..

        Getting a good fit/tight seal is crucial, but these moulded-cup-type respirators tend to fit poorly resulting in air leaking in around the edges. The 3M Aura respirators are much more pricy but will fit most faces well with a good seal.

          @bidoof: Thats true - these ones have a very solid metal tab across the nose bridge that stays where put and a foam seal too, so really not bad as far as fit goes - suits me anyway. Not sure about people with other face shapes/ beards etc
