Hey honey, I bought a laptop for you , happy valentine's day
Hey honey, yeah I needed for work, Word requires a lot of processing power, and plus it was only on sale for $699
4080 is a good 26-30% faster in games depending on resolution to a 3080ti, which makes this a good buy considering price of (decent) 3080ti machines are similiar. These -HX chips eats any amd (at least until dragon range) and apple chips alive, of course, at the cost of power consumption.
Just note the 7i is expected to not be the highest sku in the lineup anymore - QOL and small features have been cut down compared to previous years (less rgb, legion 5 style power button, no glass touchpad, gigabit(1g) ethernet instead of 2.5g, no io light). The current speculation is that Lenovo is planning on release the Legion 9/9i as top end rigs and will put back these features in at extra markup to 'compete' with high end razer/alienware/rog models.
You reckon we'll see i7 12700h/i9 12900h + RTX 4050/RTX 4060 configurations at sub 2k anytime soon?
Hard to say. Official Nvidia release for 4070 and lower tiered skus is due next week, but I fear any 2k or below rrp models might be compromised in one way or another. Will have to see what the AU pricing looks like.
Yeah my 11800H in that NUC x15 smashed my desktop, easy.
Note that Lenovo removed a bunch of the nice features that came with last year's model
See Jarrod's Tech video for more informationFollowing the link I can only see pricing of $5,599?

Thanks to TSMC, the mobile 40 Series GPU is much more powerful than the 30 series with low temp and power consumption.
Did they increase the price? It's $4,249.00 for me.
edu store
No, there were 2 options. They took off the cheaper one. You can still see 2 in normal store. Would have pull the trigger if they didn’t take it off.
What a pity, there is only 4249 at EDU store, I could not find 36xx version.
Are there any reviews published?
