  • awesome price, paid $250 and thought it was low

    • Why? Genuine question. What is the pull or flex with instant camera?

I think that’s the beauty of instant cameras — they are intentional and thoughtful. Romantic and rustic. To be able to instantly see and feel the photo come alive in tangible form, right before your eyes, is a beautiful and nostalgic feeling.

          So…nudes?

        • OK, thanks… Each to their own I guess, for me nostalgia over $194.65/$250 would be much bigger.

I will stick to my phone or Sony

@dr: Well I meant all instant cameras, not just this particular one.

I wouldn’t buy this model. The fact that you can choose the photo to print defeats the purpose of instant cameras TO ME.

            TO EACH THEIR OWN (r).

It's just a nostalgia factor, and also treasuring a single photo. When you gift them to someone, they really love them because they can stick them in the fridge and look at them often, while you would barely or never print the ones in your phone. It has also that feeling of "this is the only picture in the world, there is no copy of it anywhere else".

In my case, i took weekly pictures of my kids during their first year, and now have switched to monthly ones. It's pretty cute after they are a couple of years old and you can see their growth.

I feel like i look at the instant ones more often than the 200GB of photos i have on my phone and Google photos
