  • Where’s the warehouse, is it in Kenmore?

    • Hey mate! Virginia 4014, open Mon-Fri, 8am-3pm.

      • Cheers, would it fit in a smallish car? It’s in boxes I’m guessing.

        • +1

Yeah they come in a single box. I don't think you would have much trouble putting it across the back seat.

Car seats usually have airbags in them and need to be bolted to chasis, i don't think it would be legal

The backrest on this chair isn't very supportive, and the adjustable lumbar support is a piece of hard plastic that digs into your back.

    • I have a Cascade in my home office and can't say I've had the same experience, then again, we may be different shaped humans! The Cascade lumbar support does have a bit of flex to it and can be adjusted down so that it's against the sacrum, if you find it too intrusive up high.

    • +2

I had the same problem and ended up cutting the lumbar support off.

I had the same problem the ended up leaving the chair in the storage room. The lumbar support is too hard and very uncomfortable.

    Cascade Mesh Chair $199

    Better than Boags ?

  • These look like the mesh-backed chairs I have used at work previously. They were trash and I had bad back problems within a couple of weeks.

The ergonomics guy said the department had to replace half the chairs in the building because of the musculoskeletal problems people were having.

    • To be fair lots of good chairs look the same as well.

      • Most good chairs that look like this cost a little more than $200 though

  • +3

I find this chair uncomfortable. The benefit is that it forces me to get up and move around regularly. If you sit up very straight it's probably ok. If you slouch a little like me, you find yourself sliding off the front. No adjustment, apart from height.

    • +1

Yeah. They're pretty ordinary chair. There are much better buys out there and less expensive with full adjustment. I'd reconsider this.
