Bought the furniture from this brand before, worst installation ever

  • Grabbed one of these from eBay for the same price with free delivery last year, it’s fine for occasional use and kids etc but I wouldn’t want to be spending a day working in it

What is a good value office chair?

Using this one for 1 year. No complaints for the price point.

That looks uncomfortable unless you yourself have built in padding…

        • In other words, you need to have a dump truck of an ass. 🍑

        • So, for pixar mums only?

      • I got a previous version of this and you get what you pay for. I am currently sitting on a cushion - the chair is so uncomfortable (arse and back) but my wife has plans for our landing where everything would be going so won't condone an expensive chair purchase (>$100 :D), but dependent on a couple of upcoming uncertainties. I work from home once a month and otherwise use it for recreation every odd evening or weekend for no longer than 1-2 hours.
        Avoid cheap chairs full stop…

      • This is back pain galore… Speaking for experience. I still use one with extra padding I purchased from Kmart.

What is a good value office chair?

One that is good quality and not overpriced.

I've had a Buro Metro for almost a decade. It's a decent option.

  • My 2c, spend a bit more on a good desk/office chair and your back will thank you for it.

These cheaper chairs probably aren't for testing in any stores because they know no one will buy since they're not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. When you're buying a good quality chair, you're paying for the R&D more so than the physical product. Doesn't need to be a Herman Miller/Steelcase but a brand that doesn't sell the same product under different labels just so the negative reviews don't affect it as much. Even something like Sihoo would be better.

    • The problem I have is not being able to test any chairs at a store. I've tried every chair at Officeworks, didn't like any of them.

    • Even something like Sihoo would be better.

Have you tried the M102C or M18? Looking to purchase one of the two but not sure if the M18 is worth the extra $$$

      Cheers
