  • Was 16% about 2 weeks ago. So this is not that special. If not urgent or no good prices on website, better to wait until one of the better cashback rates. Though inclusion of edu store is new.

    • Yep there was no edu store 2 weeks ago when it was 16%.

  • The edu store currently has a SCHOOLPICKS ecoupon listed but it's not on cashrewards site. I'm assuming you probably won't get cashback then, if you use that code?

    • You should be able to get it.
This is written on the cash rewards website:

"Cashback is however eligible on codes generated by Lenovo on its website, even though they may not be listed on Cashrewards, provided last click before purchase is from Cashrewards."

Also there is a coupon that says:
      "Expires: Feb 4, 2023, 11:59:00 PM
Get cashback on all purchases in LenovoEDU store
      Coupon: Not Required"

  • Hmm…just bought a laptop of lenovo edu store after speaking to the sales person and getting a custom order but it still hasn't been made yet.

I'm thinking I should cancel that order but I don't know if cashrewards tracks with negotiated deals with sales dude?

    • According to their conditions negotiated deals are not eligible.

I'm in the same boat, bought a custom p14s earlier in the week through edu store. But the negotiated price still sees me about $80 better off than cashback.

  • Anyone succeeded getting money from them?

Despite using clean browser, clicking referrals and completing purchase, then providing invoice of completed purchase as the evidence, my cashback was marked as declined.

What a bunch of a**holes. Considering raising the case with Fair Trading as advertising discounts and rejecting them in the end is nothing but a misleading business practice.

    • What was the reason provided by CR when you raised it?
