    I might be wrong but don't the Samsung Watches require you to own a Galaxy phone as well? I do currently own one but won't be buying another.

      Nope, they don't. However, some features are 'Samsung Exclusive' such as ECG, blood pressure, Samsung Messages and Bedtime mode. With that being said, there are ways to enable these features on non-Samsung phones using a third-party mod. If you don't mind sideloading APKs, you can find information about that over here. For reference, I use a Google Pixel 6 Pro with this mod and have access to the same features as if I was using a Samsung phone.

        Have you noticed any bugs or increased battery usage with the sideload workaround? I have the Pixel 7 Pro and it annoys me that I can't use the ECG and Blood Pressure monitor.

          @raiichiu: I've had no bugs while using this workaround nor any particular increase in battery usage. I've also used this workaround with my parent's watch and a friend of mine also uses it, and they've had no issues thus far. Of course, make sure you backup your watch first, just in case. I personally would recommend the workaround, do keep in mind that the BP monitor requires use of a real BP monitor to calibrate initially.

    Do you use the heart rate monitor continuously or perform any workouts using GPS? I've only been able to get 3 days max.

      I only get about 3 days, I do workouts every day with it and have continous heart rate monitoring
