Same crap in there and prices keep going up on these. Amazing!

Protein powders are a fantastic way to kill your kidneys prematurely and increase the chances of heart disease. I encourage all caught up in the marketing lies and hype to do their research thoroughly about the dangers of high protein intake, before ruining your bodies for good.

This powder also contains Acesulfame Potassium which itself is composed of methylene chloride, a known carcinogen.

Acesulfame Potassium has been banned in Europe as an ingredient in bakery products.

Remember, big muscles aren’t everything - a heart, a brain and two functioning kidneys are.

Oof at this price I'd rather buy 200 cans of $1 tuna on sale than this.

    • +15

A true ozbargainer would wait for the tuna to go down to 99cents to get 2 extra cans

      • -4

A true Ozbargainer would just go out and fish.

      • +8

A true ozbargainer would start a pest control business, get paid to collect the bugs and refine them into a protein source.

        • +5

A true ozbargainer would collect road kill or start a pet cremation business.

      • +4

A true ozbargainer would just sit and gain weight

The mercury would make you blind

I wonder what would kill your faster - the sodium in 200 cans of tuna, or the 2300mg included in the average dose of this junk?

My bad - forgot to add the potentially deadly Acesulfame Potassium included in this powder.

Shocking that people still fall for the marketing stunts of these protein powder manufacturers.

      • +1

        @JeBs
        Take your tinfoil hat off.

The average 'dose' is about 130mg
Decent protein, which this is not in my opinion is about 55mg per serve.

      • +1

@JeBs chill out mate it’s 50mg sodium per serve not (profanity) 2300mg.

Show us where the mean protein powder company hurt you.

guys, $43.8/kg is a far cry from the current eyeball avg of $38/kg

  • +2

Used to be able to get this for 100 bucks back in the days, what's going on out there?

  • 2kg one is $$$ now too

  • @lg Clearly not a deal. OP do better.

    • -2

Everyone can do better by eating natural proteins, and avoiding these potentially toxic chemical concoctions.

Nah, if its good enough for almost every professional sporting person, it's good enough for me.

  • HODL brothers and sisters! HODL!

  • +2

    Whey too much.

  • +1

They were doing something similar but with 142 bucks

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/691653

    so HODL!

  • +2

$150 used to be the standard for this :(

  • Just ordered for AminoZ. Their WPI is around $40 a kilo delivered.

    • -2

Just got 10kg from Bulk Nutrients, was still $32.75 kg shipped

      • Must be WPC and not WPI.

        10kg (10 x 1kg) bags = $38.70 each

      • -2

BN also doesnt taste very good…

      • That is WPC..
If you are going to spend $32, spend $38 for WPI

  • Wtf it’s only banana and strawberry flavours…

    Booo not cool.

  • Who has the best flavour? For a sweet rich taste. My main usage is probably mixing with yogurt (yum).

Optimum nutrition chocolate is not bad. Dymatize chocolate is probably my favorite from the ones I've tried. Aminoz is fine for it's price and great value if you are using a lot (I use very little so prioritize flavor).

    Anything better than dymatize?

    • I am sick of all these artificial flavors. Have ordered natural/unflavored WPI this time. Lets see how it goes. Can mix it up with few things if I want different taste. No fillers, no sweeteners no colorings.

  • running out of gold standard, where can i get a good deal on a 1kg tub?

  • How ironic that gold standard now cost more than gold itself.

  • +1

I dont know how people enjoy 4.5kg of the same flavour. Thats like 100-150 days of the same flavour every day.
I much prefer the 1kg bags from Bulk Nutrients or AminoZ. Still get the bulk pricing just split into multiple flavours.

    • I add it to oatmeal or shakes and stuff only need vanilla mostly.

  • decent price atm. wished it was vanilla, would have ordered.
