All seats over 4years don't support iso due to weight requirements

This is correct. You won't find isofix in seats that support 4 and over.

Tbh I found our isofix seats weren't that easy to use anyway, always found it hard to click in (could have been due to leather seats being a bit more rigid).

        • does this need to be professionally installed?

@mr_asstight: In my view, if you can't work out how to install it yourself, you're going to be in for a whale of a time with all the other challenges that come with having a child. But most states/local councils seem to offer free fitment and checking services for the pearl clutchers.

    • no idea

  • BigW is selling InfaSecure Advance Move Convertible Car Seat for the same price. Can be picked up in store.
Based on the specs, looks similar to me.

Wanting a new seat for 3 year old. Current one is very upright and doesn't support head, if he falls asleep his head ends up horizontal 🤦
Not sure how to tell if this will be the same problem

    • Same issue, we bought "Britax Safe N Sound Millenia" from ozbargain deal, its pretty crappy in seat mode, head will always fall forward when sleeping even in our outlander with the seat back 20 odd degrees.

      • I think all seats are going to have this issue - the only way it could realistically work is if the seat back was tilted backwards way more - but obviously this isn't an option because the seat belt isn't going to work if the body is at a jaunty angle.

tl;dr the seat belt won't do it's job if the seat is heavily reclined

  • This seat is a convertible which means it converts to seatbelt very early. Not a great choice, plenty of Type G and ERF available for similar price. Other Infa seats that aren’t convertible are excellent.
