I get it is a bit of an older model but looks like a pretty good deal, I don't like smart watches because of the shot battery life, but this seems to fix the problem/

my galaxy watch used to last 18 hours
two weeks is still short
He said the smart watches, probably like samsung apple
True
2 weeks is too short. I need 1 year battery life therefore i go for older classic watches.
Apples (watches) and Oranges
The product is more than $39, so you should probably get rid of the " + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $39 Spend)" part
This is Instinct SOLAR, watch the review on youtube, this thing will never run out of battery if you have enough time/decent exposure to sunlight.
Yes this is why I am posting
It definitely will, if you use GPS daily.
Yup GPS is by far the biggest drain.
Probably 10-15 hours max life with standard GPS settings
I've got one and it does run out if you don't have it in low power mode, but with normal use I'm charging it every 20 days or so. Awesome battery life as I don't need it for much - just notifications and the fitness tracking (sold my other smart watches)
Yeah I'm pulling 3 weeks on mine.
This is my currrent watch and battery last more than 2 weeks. I love this watch.
me too, it's the most comfortable watch I've worn in ages so much so I forget I'm wearing it. Tempted to grab an instinct 2s solar for the slightly smaller case but there's nothing wrong with gen 1 - will probably hold out for gen 3
Love the description of the item. It seems to be a comfy sleeping bag haha.
damn so tempted to pick one up. really after something for a triathlon but it doesnt seem like it was designed for triathlons but its perfectly capable of meeting the bare minimum of it according to comparisons on dcrainmaker against the fenix 6 pro
coros pace 2 seems more suitable for triathalon, and while not solar has a pretty long battery life:

Goes for around $300AUD
Waiting for a good deal on the new Garmin forerunner 255 as the music and pay capabilities complete it for me. Big upgrade on the older 245.
Keep your eye on the Pushys website. They have been popping up, maybe not as cheap as you want but 560$
Keep in mind this is the Instinct, not the newer Instinct 2.
Better battery life, higher resolution screen (mixed reviews on how important this is) and Instinct 2 has many of the features of higher end watches, like most nav features (minus actual maps) like the 955.
Probably still a great watch but worth noting it's the non-current model.
I have a non Solar Instinct and a Fenix 6 and both batterys last for like two weeks. Not sure where you got the short battery life idea from.
