Ye-ouch. I used to use an Instapure unit 10 years ago, mostly because my local bunnings had a failed experiment with them and I was able to pick up the charcoal filters for $2 each. Even full price, they're still cheaper than this.

Just make sure your wife or flatmate that wash with berita water. It happen to me.
I had this. But the cartridge filter is super fine and clogs within 2 months or less. Expensive to keep replacing. But high quality filter . I replaced mine with the Philips one.
how much is the phillips system and is it better ?
Philips probably no where as good in filtration but filters are cheaper and don't clog. I bought the rest from Coles when they were clearing them. Enough for a few years. Also got a spare tap filter unit.
Under bench RO systems are far superior to these heaps of junk for not much more.
Especially if you don’t want to drink fluoride.
