Is this software any good?
I wouldn't pay for it…
I am concerned jv, where is the bolding?
I am using the VideoPad, which does everything I wanted in a video editor. If I didn't already have one, I'd be tempted with this one.
Is VideoPad free? If not how much and is it easy to use?
Yes, it's free. I'm an absolute novice and I find it easy and rewarding. So much so that I decided to pay them $50 which I thought was reasonable. If you can call it basic, I'm surprised at what it can do. So far I'm limited to what I know and what I do, which is speeding up/slowing down, adding text, cutting and pasting, delinking with the voice, adding your own sound or sound overlay, and crop.
Thanks for this info cravers.
VideoPad's not bad… thanks for letting us know about it!
I am looking to create a short documentary about OzBargain and have a sypnosis below…(names and details changed).
Would this be what studios use to create videos?"The community of users on ozbargain.com.au is a strange and mysterious place, a labyrinth of deals and discounts that draws the unsuspecting bargain hunter deeper and deeper into its clutches. They are a group of people united by a singular obsession: the hunt for the ultimate deal. But beneath the surface of this community lies a deeper struggle, one of self-actualization and the search for meaning.
There's "NameRedacted," the deal-seeking warrior who uses her cunning and determination to conquer the ever-changing landscape of discounts and offers. And "NameRedacted,," the archetypal hero who, through his unyielding pursuit of the best deals, transcends his own limitations and rises to the top of the bargain hunting world.
But the journey to true self-actualization is not without its challenges, as the community is plagued by the "NameRedacted,," the shadow of the bargain hunter, who represents the darker aspects of the human psyche and the danger of becoming consumed by the pursuit of material gain.
Through their struggles, the community of users on ozbargain.com.au ultimately learns to balance the search for material gain with the pursuit of self-actualization and true fulfillment."
I also have an animated short I would like to make based on my character, Lemmy the Lemon, who always wanted to become a lime.
Once upon a time, there was a little lemon named Lemmy who fell off a tree and rolled down a hill. He was sad because he wanted to stay on the tree and grow big and juicy, but he soon realized that his journey was just beginning. As he rolled through the forest, he met new fruits like orange, apple and strawberry, they all shared their stories and experiences with Lemmy, and he realized that there is so much more to life than just being a lemon.
One day, Lemmy met a wise old lime who told him that he could change his color and become a lime if he went on an adventure and found a magic potion. Lemmy was excited and set off on his journey. He had to cross rivers, climb mountains and even face a fierce dragon, but he finally found the potion and drank it.
To his surprise, he turned into a lime and was overjoyed. He returned to the forest and shared his new lime-ness with all his friends. They were amazed and happy for him, and from then on, Lemmy, the little lemon who fell from the tree, was known as Limey the adventurous lime.
Sounds like Google Slides will be the best tool for you. I would suggest power point but its not in the free spirit of OzBargainer
:-) :-) :-)
I'm using the free version of DaVinci Resolve.
And lo, there came a time when men didst desire to create videos with great skill and artistry. And so, they didst turn to DaVinci Resolve, a tool of great power and might. But behold, there were two versions of this tool, one free and one full. And the free version was limited in its abilities, lacking in features such as 3D editing and motion graphics. But the full version was bountiful, offering all manner of tools and capabilities for the true video creator. Thus, let it be known that the choice between the free and the full is a weighty one, and one that should be considered with great care.
Which free software does everyone uses? Need something simple so my dad can edit his own video.
Try Handbreak!
Honestly Microsoft Clipchamp is super simple and free. Worth a crack I reckon.
I would avoid "lifetime" licence as it means nothing, this is the most recent incident involving a video editor as well.
I use Shortcut to make my fan compilations got the hub. 90 percent of the movies are just filler , I just put in the good bits ! Why have dinner , when you can get straight to the dessert ;
Is this software any good? Anyone's using it?
