Hi, first time poster go easy on me , was looking for a cheap TV for the kids room , came across this TCL , reduced to $995 at betta , went surfing for a discount code and got in down to $895.50 . I'm thinking this is a great price for a budget 75inch TV not sure how long it will last. Thanks all.
Anyone know if there is any good value 85 inch tv at the moment, my sofa to the tv is 5.5 meters so 75 might be a bit small for me

Bought this tv in December with free delivery for $950. It's a brilliant tv for movies etc. 4k is super sharp and colours awesome. Why would the average/above average punter want more for this price. Can't see that the lg is 3 times better. Unless you have a side by side comparison you wouldn't see the difference when at home.

saw this in person and the staff told me it's basically a samsung rip off. tv remotes too are very close replicas. I was shopping on boxing day and ended up getting the TCL (this one) instead as it was cheaper at that time

Just for context … I was looking for a 75" (about 6 months ago) and managed to get a TCL 75P715 2nd hand for $500.
Its been brilliant so far (touch wood). The only issue is the remote is mediocre as it only seems to work directly in front of the TV. The andriod system seems to be slow .. but this seems to be the case with all TV's. The colour / sound is more than suffice. P715 (dunno about the P735) even has headphone jack if parents want to watch in silence at night together when the kids are sleeping.
So this P735 seems like a bargain at this price.
