      It includes taxes in that price.
      Normal price for that trip is around $300-$390. So savings is ok.
      Not the best in the world and not even the best from AirAsia.

    For Perth People, I just tried a search for 2 people on the Perth - Kuala Lumpur - Osaka - Kansai AU$ 259.00 fare, and could not find any in the sale period. Cheapest was $302 which is not bad (about the same as a flight to Tasmania), but nothing overly special for "Best in the World".

    AirAsia is the best at misleading sales. Scoot sales last week for Sydney to Singapore $176 return is far better than this.
