The Best Credit Card?
Amex Black. Good luck!
lol the Amex Centurion is far from being the best credit card. It's probably the most exclusive but doubt it's the best in regards to value.
Depends how the cardholder uses it ;)
For no annual fee, I'd recommend AMEX essential (0.625% cashback).
However I would recommend you instead get the HSBC everyday global debit card which gives 2% cashback on instore transactions below $100.
Most of the best signup bonus credit cards have an annual fee atm. You could get the St george Platinum ($400 of gift cards and $49 first year annual fee), CBA low fee gold ($300 signup bonus). Maybe suncorp Platinum?
CBA Ultimate doesn't have a fee if you spend enough: https://www.commbank.com.au/credit-cards/ultimate.html?ei=aw…
Hi Vulgar, Can you please elaborate what did you mean by "AMEX essential (0.625% cashback)"?
I have done a quick Google but cant see anything.
Thanking you!AMEX essential give 1.25 points per dollar spent. 2000 points gets you $10 reduction on a previous charge, making it effectively 0.625% cashback (0.5% * 1.25).

Someone else’s.
The answer is depended on your own situation, no one can answer it!
Do you have a mortgage? If you do then perhaps you have a "bundle" where you get a choice of fee free credit card, in that case, if you are brilliant at paying it off, them perhaps a points card is worthwhile.
If you can't control your spending than no credit card is you answer.
If you don't mind spending $55 a St George Vertigo might be worthwhile - 10% back on grocery shopping to a total maximum of $400, get yourself a net $345 back and then ditch the card before next years renewal.
No such thing as best credit card, different income level, shopping, travel habits come with different cards
I have a bank west card with a $50 annual fee, but it was zero interest on a bank transfer and purchases for 15 months, and that’s coming to a end and I’ve received a offer to move it all to a balance transfer internally for a 2% fee for another 15 months. Not too shabby 🤷. That’s saving a substantial amount of money
