    Seems like a good price for entry level floss, but this is not satin floss. After a quick read up, the Satin floss is a different product with wider dimensions.

      It should be made clear, however, that not all flosses contain PFAS.

      Oral-B Glide and similar competitors represent only one variety.

    • Ironically, it was because I read this or a similar article - about PFAS in some flosses - that I thought it was a good idea to use a mixture of flosses, and add this to the mix. The Colgate Total floss (with less tendency to split), definitely has PFAS. This looks like not having PFAS, the smooth waxy substance. This is not the Oral B Glide mentioned, which also has PFAS.

      Sure, it could well turn out that the other ingredients on it are just as bad or worse. Supposedly, this has TPE which is safe, but googling says Phlatalates could be added to TPE. As a consumer, it is hard to balance the choices, hopefully by using a mix of the items, one could keep exposure to a specific ingredient low enough not to pose a health issue.
