How about a road trip of US KMarts? There are only 3 left.
32' fhd
š«£
1/4" pixels :-)
cheaper than 32" 720p TVs
Fact check: true.

You could buy this Acer monitor and Velcro an Apple TV to the back of it and still be ahead. Well ahead if you just want a streamer like chromecast or kindle. Why you would do this is an entirely different question.
32 fhd is forcing your eyes open while your head is submerged in a bucket of sprite
Mega screen door effect with pixels that big.
Back in the day these things would be costing an arm and a leg
I remember paying $2500 for a Panasonic 32" 720p Tv š
My lounge room walls are a decent size, but there's no way I can get this in there. Maybe 16'. I'd probably want more pixels though.
I'd struggle to get it home from the store
Just tie it to the roof and stick "oversized" stickers on it.
Wonāt make any difference if play Minecraft with it?
Store specific clearance ? Not at all Kmart i guess.

IPS PanelOperating Power Consumption : 22 W
Try again, only this time look up the EB1.
Acer + Kmart = Harvey Moron
Surely not that bad.
Would have thought that's A-Mart….
How do you find it?
What Kmart?
In about 15 mins
Saw at least one in stock at Pacific Fair behind the service desk, perhaps two
move this to oz treasure hunt
Too early for Ozbargain treasure hunt comp
only have enough fuel to spare for the yearly gift card race
Very recently new and used 32 inch 4k Phillips monitors were on sale for $170ish (refurb) - $210ish (new), this is not cheap considering it's 1080p
yes this exactly
Which ones? How did I miss them?
When/where was this?
This monitor can't do any higher than 60hz refresh rate. No good for serious gaming if one is into it.
Pixels will be bad too at that screen size. It's bad enough on my 27" Full HD monitor.
Not for anything serious
if you buy a 1080p 32 inch screen you should be sentenced to at least 10 years looking at it.
I settled at a 27" 1080p screen. I wouldn't be any to stand any larger.
And yet people do FHD TVs bigger just fine. Can't notice pixels on my 32" FHD Dahua monitor.
People don't tend to sit right in front of their FHD TVs to look at computer text.
Same can be said with a monitor. Obviously more people sit closer but not always.
@Clear: Yes well you must have bad eyesight if you think you can't see any pixels on a 32" FHD monitor.
@hollykryten: Lasik gave me too good eyesight. I have mine mounted up on a wall and don't put my face into it.
@Clear: I'm about 3' away from my 24" FHD monitor. This might be okay for me.
How do you reckon these folk would have coped with the old 14" and 15" CRTs I used to look at every day for more than ten years? How do you reckon these folk would have coped with the old 14" and 15" CRTs I used to look at every day for more than ten years?
A typical 15" CRT like this Compaq model runs at 1024x768. That has a dot pitch of 0.29mm. A 32" screen at 1920x1080 has a dot pitch of 0.369mm. That means the CRT will be noticeably clearer than the LCD.
That said, distance makes a big difference. If you sit far away enough from the screen, the pixels won't be visible, so it really just depends on how the monitor will be used.
I've tried using a 32" FHD screen as a desktop monitor and absolutely could not stand it. But the same screen works perfectly fine for watching videos from further away.
@JerryB: Exactly. The neggers are idiots to suggest I can see the pixels of a 32" screen several metres away just because they sit close to theirs. Maybe Dahua wasn't a big enough give away of CCTV?
Our very first LCD tv was 32 inch 720P in 2006..
I saw about 10 in Melbourn CBD Kmart close to the Customer Service near Chinatown in the afternoon 3pm.
No one buying them because you'd have to be an idiot to buy a 1080p computer monitor in 32" size.
It all 4K UHD these days. Back like 10+ years 32" 1089p TVs were all the rage. Perfect for watching Blu-ray. but you sit much further back when watching TV so that isn't a problem. Unlike having a 32" 1080p monitor on your computer desk.
Good for ya gran with bad eyesight
My what big monitors you have
All the better to see your emails with
Didn't ANYONE look up the specs of this monitor.
Acer's own web site says that model, the EB1 is not FHD (1920x1080) but WQHD (2540x1440).
https://www.acer.com/au-en/monitors/essential/eb1
Still think its crap for $169?
Its the EB321 that's only FHD.
There's also a listing for an EB1 which is 1080p which this one is most probably.
Literally says FHD 1080 on the box
You've quoted the specs for the EB321HQU C model which is the higher end Quad HD model. https://www.acer.com/us-en/monitors/essential/eb1/pdp/UM.JE1ā¦
It's this model. Notice how it says Full HD 1920 x 1080. EB321HQ model.
https://www.acer.com/us-en/monitors/essential/eb1/pdp/UM.JE1ā¦
EB1 is just a series range. It comes in either a Full HD or Quad HD models. You're only getting the crappy Full HD model with this one. It's low end nonesense.
The photo from this deal literally shows Full HD on the box as in the FHD logo. It's clearly the EB321HQ model (Full HD) model.
great price for a 32 FHD IPS monitor, never seen a new 32 monitor this cheap
yep, people might use it as a small TV ā¦.attach a chomecast for $49 and you have a small TV ā¦.iād find it a bit big FHD 32ā as a computer screen, but great as a TV or monitor to watch movies on or xbox, etc when you canāt use the big TV in the lounge room.
You would also need to add Bluetooth speakers, no speaker out on this monitor. Chromecast can Bluetooth sound out however.
$149 delivered 27 inch 165hz deal earlier this week was the better buy
One hundred and nice.
4 left in Vic park in WA, apparently they were a black Friday deal that no one was interested in.
Looked good enough at home but I'm not planning on doing any gaming that requires a high frame rate.A 32" monitor but only at 1080P is a let down. Both games and Video editing these days demand 4K.
I would rather spent $40 to $50 more for a 4K version.
Great price for the size and brand…
This is not a suitable ozbargain here where it can not be found online or numbers could be confirmed.Theres one more at Kmart Chatswood NSW :)
Seen at Morley, WA.
A good price if the specs suit. Has uses other than desktop. e.g. Shop displays.
You can get a 32" TV for similar price, but most only 720pugh.. people complaining about FHD at 32"..
Same pixel density as a 4k 65" lolThis is a computer monitor. You sit a lot closer to a computer monitor than a 65" TV.
Cheapest triple screens for my sim rig. Winning lol
Got last one at my local Kmart Hervey Bay after ringing store to check availability
Sometimes Kmart will have stock even though it won't show up online or even phone calls , amazingly.
Sometimes Kmart will have stock in store, but once placed online order and will got cancelled within 15 minutes, that's how amazing they are.
Thereās a few left in Warragul, Vic apparentlyā¦depends on how far youāre willing to drive for one.
Might have got the last one from northland
Curiously I went to the service desk to ask about them and it was on the shelf behind the desk. So if youāre looking for them try the service desk!
Just saw this today, 2 Left @ Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane.
Reckon ones still there?
2 left at Westfield Warringah Mall dee why sydney
One or two left at KMart Innaloo (WA).
That's exactly where this monitor belongs.
