The santoku knife alone is sold for $77 at Amazon. They're classified as dishwasher safe and so far the ones we're using have held up.

  Glad the 30yo Wusthof knife set washed in the dishwasher most.days isn't worthy of you. One handle has broken last year, the whole knife was replaced for free.
