  Very good vacuum. I use it for cleaning my car. It doesn't come with a brush, so I picked up the powerfit one also sold at Bunnings to use with this. In a pinch it can also function as a wet-vac, but it is not recommended. It has a shutoff float which can help prevent it from sucking water into the motor, but if you keep going, it will still suck water into the motor and damage it.

  What is the use case for this over a regular vacuum you plug in?

    It'd be more for a quick clean up away from a power source e.g tradie work. At home you'd just do a proper job with a regular vacuum/stick vac.

    I’m using it to vacuum out the the entire roof space prior to installing new insulation.
    A corded vacuum would be impractical, especially where the roof meets the eaves.
    It’s probably easier to vacuum the car also
