A word of warning for anyone interested in this deal: don’t go overboard and try to add a large number of Ultimate gift cards your mobile wallet in a short period of time.

Someone during the last Ultimate/Shopback deal added 12 Ultimate Everyone gift cards in a short period of time to their Google Wallet, and they had their Google Wallet suspended.

If you are thinking of purchasing more than a few Ultimate Everyone gift cards through this deal to use in one transaction in a physical store, my suggestion is to use more than one mobile wallet… or skip this deal and pick up 10% off physical Ultimate gift cards (excluding Ultimate Everyone) instore at Woolworths.

    • What's the difference between Ultimate and Ultimate Everyone?

      • +2

Ultimate gift cards is the name of the multi-retailer gift card scheme operated by Blackhawk Network.

There are multiple types of Ultimate gift cards geared towards different market segments and/or demographics, and Ultimate Everyone gift cards is one such type. Ultimate Everyone gift cards is supposed to be the Ultimate gift card that tries to be the catch-all Ultimate gift card, where it has a huge number of participating retailers across multiple retailer types (e.g. electronics/electrical, homewares, fast food, fashion, entertainment).

Ultimate gift cards asks for your name, dob, email and mobile to activate the card. Obviously to then track where you use it and sell your data and spending habits.

You can use bogus info but need a working mobile for a OTP. I used a temp Australian number using an online SMS service and got my GC working with all fake info.

Anyone else having issues adding the VISA cards to their Apple wallet? Says to try again later or contact issuer

    • yeap having same problem as well, any idea why?

      • Not sure, did you find a work around?

    Not idea!

  • Do these work like a Visa card like the physical cards or like a e-gift card which is easier for online purchases?

    • +1

These are basically a digital version of the physical Ultimate gift cards, so they also act just like Visa cards.

  • no ebay, no Ali = pass

  • 7% on $50 is still available
