I have the green series cordless line trimmer and hedge trimmer. Both good quality garden tools. Mate has the corded orbital and its works great.
These are DIY tools, not trade spec. Blue is the trade series
I started off with a green series hammer drill and impact driver. It's a great set of tools to have around the place if you're doing basic masonry work, drilling into wood, assembling furniture, etc. I went a good 3 years of at home DIY before I bought my Makita hammer drill and driver set.
Admittedly, there is no comparison between the two of them - brushed vs brushless being the main thing I'd say - but for most people who aren't going to be using the tools on a regular basis, the green series is a decent range.
I have the drill on this green series for almost 10 yrs when Bunning still selling this line. It's been going through many small reno around the house and still going strong.
as long as it's DIY nothing wrong with this seriesToy tools.
Buy something pleasurable to use.
It’s $229.95 ($217 + $12.95 shipping) at Catch, you can claim Flybuys here and potentially free shipping for members (I’m not).
The Ryobi kit is $269 with an extra 2ah battery on top. I think an extra $30 for the extra battery and ecosystem is worth it.
