Lol
Not sure its not mentioned in the deal.
It's an ad not a deal
Echo Dot is our most popular voice-controlled speaker
doubt it.
It’s their cheapest, so it probably is their most popular. Why do you doubt it?
Did you know Google Home Mini was free to everyone back in 2019?
They were flying all around OZB and reddit for $3. I still got 5 sitting in my garage unopened.
I opened 2 and they are surprisingly still going strong.
5 of them will probably last another 10 years. You seem confused. The description is from Amazon. “is our most popular”….“our” is Amazon. So Google Mini’s have nothing to do with this statement.
Alexa works better for me than Google mini. I have both.
Better pay only $10 for it when signing up for a new trial…
Amazon are discontinuing development on alexa… id be cautious about getting into that ecosystem now unless youre already in there
There has been no news that Amazon are discontinuing development as far as I can see.
My understanding is they are simply cutting back on the brute force insane amount of staff they had on Alexa which were not really producing any meaningful results.
Prime Music shuffle mode is really going to send it down hill.
Yup, Amazon Alexa division has 10,000 staff which I think is too bloated. Twitter total employees is half of that before Elon comes in.
Being cautious with $19 is not necessary
$19 @ Bunnings, although when I was in store earlier this week, they had some Christmas packaged Echo Dot (3rd Gen) behind the counter for $18.
My google hub is collecting dust now ……
And so is my Dyson vacuum cleaner
It probably means you haven't done anything with it.
I would assume most people own air conditioners, fans and other electrical devices that they might want to control.
Thanks.
Me, Frankie, Johnny and two Italian guys were looking for one for decades.Bought one at JB a few days ago also at $19. Seems to work better than my old Google Home Mini.
Thats nice. How much is it?
