i read the ebay reviews for a lot of these damaged box tvs, and it really turned me away from buying a 75 a couple weeks ago.
Do you mind to share more about the damaged box tvs?
I just read so many complaints that the TVs weren't working straight out of the box, shipping was taking a month plus, and all in all just bad customer service from sony. was a little bit upset as I was going to buy a sony anyway from jb or Harvey norman. but I'm going with the tcl mini led now surprisingly.
which model you going to get?
I'm after C835 too bad missed the pre black friday deal :(It seems there's no promo/stock ATM…
@grygryjack: yeah that exact model mate, i cant find it myself either but im waiting for it to drop to 1700 im hoping when it does come back.
@bob98: From other post people said they'll get their order in Jan, I think that's when they have new stock arrive hopefully our wait will end there!
Box damaged is basically just an expression. It can mean returned TVs because of many issues. Sometimes theres nothing wrong but its a risk no doubt
@Whisper Quiet: I saw someone saying it was just a tax-deductible for sony and there all brand new TVs but after reading the reviews your answer is probably correct
Sony ebay has horrendous reviews about their return policy, steer clear to avoid headaches if not financial abuse.
