Got through, 2 x adults and 2 x kids syd-gold coast return, 5th feb - 13th feb, $76 total. The fare is $1.00 but the fees make up the rest lol. So happy!!!!

Why would a company deliberately create a promotion that is likely to crash their system and leaves thousands of people angry and frustrated with them because they wasted their time on their site? It's beyond me.

There are actually heaps of seats still available! (No wonder if not many people get through…) I managed a few times to get to the calendar function to see the still available seats. The system just keeps crashing beyond that point, during the booking or even payment process!
