Does it matter if you treat it right?
Handles are fatter
Fat handles reduce your handles of fat.
I've had one break off at the handle (was in a spot could get some sunlight though). But I'm too scared to swing one around now, seems like a factory fault could be painful.
Thanks. Bought 10. Now i'm stuck
I guess the all important question needs to be asked.
Do you even lift bro?
since alo1234 is stuck, probably not ahaha
Isn't that where he's stuck; in the lift?
Didn't get that far LOL
Same as me, lift the weights I've got on bargain into the house, under the bed to ignore them.
something something step bro
protip: get yourself a companion to increase your overall carrying capacity.
could also craft a new back pack with higher tier materials or just invest in str/end stats ?
I'm sworn to carry your
ballsbells…
Tie it to your ballsac. That's the real workout
Dump single flowers out of your inventory until you can move again.
Or finally quaff that Potion of Strength you've been hoarding for the last 6 weeks
clearance should be more than 50% off
I did see clearance of 10%
My Coles sells clearance meats for 15% off or something stupid
it says 10 kg, but in fact it's 10.8 kg. 800 gramm comes as discount!!!
Takes me back to covid lockdowns when these were impossible to get.
Just think about how much unused gym equipment is sitting in garages right now, hard stuff to sell though considering postage.
My neighbors set up a great home gym in their garage, at least $10k worth, they used it for 3 weeks in 2020 never seen them using it once since. If you bought during the lockdowns, you won't get your money back, but you can sell weights pretty easily on gumtree, people come and pick them up.
I remember driving around to every Big W etc. desperate to get some sort of kettle bell so I could continue any type of workout now the gym is closed. Couldn't get anything so I just quit working out altogether and have never been back to the gym, I was consistent for 5 years straight prior to covid lol.
Love the Rick Rude moniker btw
I was lucky that I bought the last 16kg 24kg at the local rebel sport on my lunch break, when work announced that we'd all be working from home for the foreseeable future.
Edit: I actually go much stronger during lockdowns, doing kettlebell workouts 4-5 days per week. Wasn't all bad I guess.
Anyone got tips on where to find decent quality but affordable heavier kettlebells? 24kg or heavier
You could try Morgan. I have bought mainly boxing gear and sand bags from them.

You need to create an account with them first.
thanks mate, they look almost identical to the ones I got from gym direct ages ago so thats a nice bonus.
FB marketplace, otherwise your paying refined gold prices.
If you're in Sydney I've found the bells from Macarthur Fitness to be good quality and good price. They do delivery or pick up if you live close enough.

Just noticed they only go up to 32kg
32 would be good
They often have 20% off (I think at least 3 times this year from memory)… if you can wait
If you're serious about it, I recommend getting competition kettle-bells like
https://www.aussiestrength.com.au/pro2-kettlebell-24kg/The cheap ones with funny shapes will end up teaching bad habits / bad form.
I currently am running a set of these:
https://gymdirect.com.au/products/classic-powder-coated-kett…
Maxes out at 28 though, and too much of a tight arse to shell out for 32's haha - guess I'll just do more reps.

The shape looks good. I'm a bit fussy with the smoothness of the handle, the one in that photo looks a bit rough, but is it fine in person?

From what I've read (and I practice), that works for a while up to about 10 reps before you'd really want to get the 32.
My heaviest kb is 32kg now. I currently kb-press sets of 10x28kg. About to move up to 32kg, and I don't think I'll ever manage to exceed this, so I won't ever need more than what I have now. As I get older and lose strength, I'll be able to start selling the heaviest ones lol.
Tells me OOS online.
It shows sold out now in most Melbourne stores, except for Chadstone .
was $19 for those wondering
Benefit of these over dumbbells?
you can do the turkish get up like Joseph Rogain.
Lots of other exercises you cant do with dumbells like swings
Easier in the hands for holding below the waist, especially heavier weights for compound movements.
Thanks but I don't want to get too hench.
Terrible. Bought one. Couldn't make a single cup of tea.
I've been looking for one of these for a while. Worth the weight…
None at Chirnside Park VIC (despite the website saying they have 'low stock'), just called. Not going to check other stores.
Thanks. Was about to go!
I saw this 18kg adjustable kettlebell for $69 (was $119)
https://www.kmart.com.au/product/18kg-adjustable-kettlebell-…
edit.. it's a scam, they want $80 for delivery with no c&c so it's now $149 (reduced from $119)$69?
Nice…69 is the sex number and 420 is the ganja number
664 is the neighbour of the Beast
I grabbed one of these in store and found it sort've giant and slippery. They also had the steel ones which I'd pay for as they're easier to grip and much smaller.
Wife said these are easier to grip. No seriously.
So what you are saying is your wife DOES NOT find it giant and slippery?
$1.20 per kg
I just weighed these. 9.15kg… I feel ripped off
How do you know your scales arent broken
A lot of these are underweight, some by up to a kg
By the mould and fill with concrete
great idea but no metric
I weighted mine and it's 10.45kg! 💪💪
Plastic covered concrete?
