Amazing Product. Super Light weight & keeps you really warm at sub zero temp. This is the best price I've seen on Black Friday. Ebay seems to matching the price but with a higher delivery charge.

With a foot box zip and the main zip, you could use this in a wide range of temperatures. I like Mummy bags over a quilt for holding in the temp. If I want a quilt style sleeping experience I can unzip my bag to be more quilt like. Depends on how each person prefers to sleep.
This has a zero degree rating - so I woudn't want to be camping in snow fields!
Read that as Transvestite
Comfort rating is 0 degrees. There are many variables involved but that suggests it's not really suitable (ideal) for sub-zero temps.
Fair point! I camped through Tassie last winter and it worked pretty well. You're right about the comfort rating and must go by that.
Using a silk liner can make a big difference, as does what you sleep on (eg closed cell mat….).
Ratings are decent guides but not definitive. Once had a Paddy Palling down bag rated to -15 which was terrible in above zero conditions. Exchanged it with the same model and had no troubles at sub-zero temps.
Looks like a sarcophagus.
The Mummy?
I run an escapade 500 Macpac sleeping bag ($300-$500) and it's perfect year around in Melbourne. Once you go a "mummy" style sleeping bag you'll never go back.
Down sleeping bags regulate temperature in hot weather and is warm in cold weather.
A 0 degree bag is what most people would want. It's like sleeping with a doona over you at night in your bed.
A -10 degree bag would be like having 2 doonas.Anything above this is expedition material stuff and sleeping on the Alps in winter.
What degrees would you recommend for summer in the Gold Coast?
So only good if you're camping in winter/snow fields?
I can't stand mummy style sleeping bags but that's my issue.
