  I was devastated when I couldn't get the previous edu deal.

  I found the sn850x 4tb on Amazon for $630, payment hasn't gone through yet. Hopefully, Amazon will honour it.

  The 990 pro has far superior 4k IOPS.

  If you're looking for a boot/app drive on a Gen 4 system, this is a solid choice.
