Mwave have price matched the Computer Alliance deal that went OOS and added the 1200W model as well

  Could someone please clarify where they are getting this information about it being a modified Seasonic Prime platinum platform. The Techpowerup review states that the OEM is not Seasonic.

  The Cougar website states the following:
  "It's build quality is high, and performance close to the ASUS ROG Thor flagship using a modified Seasonic Prime Platinum platform."

  So I assume they are referring to the Thor and not the Cougar PSU.

    Yes they are. OP copy pasted the previous deal description, who didn't read or misunderstood the linked review where it states on the first page no less it's made by Xin Hui Yuan Tech (XHY).

    The CWT built MSI A1000GF has been going for around the same price lately.

  Did anyone end up getting this. Mine came with a rattle out of the box, sounds like something loose inside rolling back and forth.
