Seeing the Logitech eBay store deals earlier, I looked to replace my now dead Logitech MX ERGO but none showing. Initially found JB Hi-Fi as the cheapest at $119.20 before stumbling across digiDirect.

OW was $133 before I started this. Now showing $119 beating JB. They honoured the price beat with digi.

[UPDATED] Thanks to Pecan for the heads up on the Black Friday code, and GimmeCashback for the 6% Cashrewards that can be stacked.

This is a great device! I have two, one at work and one at hone. Very good for your wrist.

Trackball need a bit of get use to if you are used to a mouse. Of course, not for gamer or high precision work.

    • not for gamer

Is this your generalisation or personal experience? For me in my experience from decades of gaming, a trackball mouse is great for FPS, etc. This is the reason why I am on a hunt for one atm since I want togo back to KB 'n' mouse combo instead of using a controller all the time when gaming.

      • I dont game but peers I know who do all have high end fast and high res mouse. No one use a trackball……

    • It actually is good for precision work, as the thumb button next to the trackball lowers your mouse DPI and makes it move much slower and therefore helps increase precision.

Slightly different from the pic, not sure if they are the same

    • That's the older Ergo M575 version

      • Cheers. Extra configurable buttons on new one?

        • 1 extra button just above the trackball

I have the old and new one. The differences on the new one are:
          - Rechargeable (lasts for months between charges)
          - Removeable magnetic metal base plate that offers 2 different degrees of tilt for comfort preference.
          - Thumb button near the trackball that greatly lowers DPI (i.e. makes the mouse move much slower for quick precision work).
          - A small button under the scroll wheel that switches connectivity between the USB dongle, and any paired Bluetooth device. This one is a gamechanger, as it lets me instantly control my mobile phone on my desk while I'm working, without having to touch it.

    • And replaceable battery
      And no vertical adjustment

  • What really annoys me with this model isusing microSD connector for charging after all the years.

How hard is it for Logi to release a refreshed model with USB-C really???

N.B. I have multiple of this.

    • IKR, I hate having to fish out memory cards just to charge my mouse!
      /J

      • sighs microUSB
