I called 0288060748 and the guy said you only get the bonus recharge dollars when paying by creditcard/cash, giftcards do not qualify for bonus.
From the website itself: "The Gift Card value could be redeemed for our load $100, get $150 credit deal*. Imagine all the arcade games you could play with that!!"
It seems like the gift card value should stack with the bonus. As has happened in the past.

I've redeemed a gift card in the past, same circumstances bought at 20%, waited for a double credit offer and used to fund the amount.
it's a pain though as you need to go to the main counters to redeem it, at least in Top Ryde anyway.
other tidbit, when we did this last time the wrote down the gift voucher details and took it off the card later (must have been a manual process). 1 of the transactions they failed to remove it from the voucher.
