    I cringe seeing these things being used without enclosures in open public spaces, homes with pets and children, and places where anybody can just walk into the room and get blinded.

    In the past I've seen them used to engrave wood or metal phone cases out in the open at trade shows. People think if the laser's invisible it can do no harm, yet it could blind people.

    I'm sure they can be safely used with the correct googles, fume extraction and fire mitigation in place, but just be well aware of the inherent risks of what you're buying.

  if you buy as 'combo' the shipping cost is outrageous for $150, if you buy separately it would be $60 though.
