Crown lager is a beer that is brewed in Australia by Carlton & United Breweries. It was first introduced in 1955 and is currently the country's second best-selling beer. The beer is made with Australian hops and barley, and is 4.9% alcohol by volume. Crown lager is a refreshing and easy-to-drink beer that is perfect for any occasion.

I see $49.45 as member offer.
Strange! Just experimented with different post codes and you're right - different prices around the place.
I always thought Dan's had uniform pricing but clearly not.
Or $47.06 delivered from Beer Garage (using the same code in OP) if like me you don't live near a Dan's/have eBay Plus and are okay waiting about a week for delivery.
country's second best-selling beer
Wow.
What’s the first? VB?
Great northern, xxxx gold and Carlton draught apparently. Crown doesn’t make the top 10.
Crown being second sounds like a tall tale
If you ask foreigners, probably Foster's.
Yet I don't know a single person that drinks it. I call bollocks.
Well if you count the statistics since 1967 and accumulate the total beer sales this definitely is nearing the top of the charts.
Even then it would be lucky to crack the top ten, and only because it would have been one of the few beers without a home “state”.
VB, XXXX, New, Reschs, KB, Fosters would have all outsold it traditionally.
The only time I remember it as making much of an appearance was at fancy Chinese restaurants or as a gift from the boss at work.
It had a moment in the 1980s/early 90s when it was “fancy” before you could easily buy euro lagers.early 00s it was the go to "fancy" beer for events where someone else was picking up the tab, especially engagements and weddings, then heineken and peroni took over.
I call shenanigans on the claim it was ever Australia’s second best selling beer.
Maybe in the week before Xmas in 1995, as old mate gave a case to each staff member, but certainly not anytime recently.

I'm kinda disappointed Tasmania gets bundled in with Russia and Afghanistan !
We never get access to any beer deals, it sucks! Not that I want this particular 'deal'.
"This store has no inventory available in your location"…multiple Brisbane postcodes tried. Seems a bit odd.
Beer Garage looks like CUB in disguise, still not posting to half of Australia!

Amazed they still make this!
Asian uncles in Australia, assemble!
Waiting for the special Budwiser specials….
Does CUB also brew Crown "under license" internationally?
I'm hoping some Australian beers are brewed under license internationally and import, just to improve the flavour. Because the international beers brew under license in Australia, taste terrible.
I mean, you're mostly talking about basic VB brand equivalent beer when we do get the privilege of CUB brewing it locally. So what exactly are you complaining about? It's still 10 times better than any beer Australia has ever made, aside from craft beers.
It’s $48 delivered direct from CUB on eBayplus and if you use the monthly $5 voucher that makes it $43. I think they only do NSW and Vic now
Need to change title does not deliver to qld
Dan Murphy selling for $44 if you are a member
$47.65 at Dan Murphys (member price) if you don't have eBay plus or would just prefer to buy it C&C/chilled.
