I searched for the SM951 and it has a read of 2GB/S, this one has upto 3.5GB/S.
Depends whether or not you will notice a difference, if you're a professional then both read and write should be noticeable (how big of a change I'm not sure) if just a gamer and/or casual laptop user then read matters more as it will load applications and files quicker (again, there is a change but it could be negligible or just barely noticeable).
