  Is this better than the Sony FE 50mm? Mine has terrible AF on my A7 mk1.

  I never had FE 50mm, but I heard it is slow, noisy.

  Samyang one has near as good as 55mm/35mm 1.8 autofocus, and quiet. There are YouTube comparison between FE 35mm f1.8 and Samyang 35mm f.18, most said they are close.

      No worries. Still seems to be a bit cheaper than it is elsewhere. I'm tempted to get it but might hold out to BF. Just annoying that Amazon put it up a another 40ish bucks. Wish I pulled the trigger earlier today.
