I did via WhatsApp chat, but I already ordered so I got a refund. Try it on the website livechat if it's available, faster responses than WhatsApp. Not sure how it works when purchasing- they may do the same and refund you the difference after.
Oh and you have to provide JB hi-fi price match as they don't accept Amazon
@Jayblesz: just saw what you said about JB, I see they have $339 as well. Luckily am still on the call, on hold, asked about the student discount. When she comes back I will put it to her. What did you have to provide to confirm your student status?

They have the QuietComfort SE for $339.95, which is essentially the same unit except that it has better battery life and comes with a soft case instead of a hard one. I just bought one for $289.99 using a StudentBeans code. Here is a youtube video explaining the difference.

Well that worked out better than expected. I bought the QC SE model for $289.99 using a student beans coupon, but a week later, the headphones still had not arrived. I had not received a tracking number, but my account was showing completed. The automated help line told me the item had shipped and another page on their website said the order was processing. When I spoke to a support person at Bose, they followed it up, apologised for the delay and then promptly offered me a 20% refund. Within 24 hours I had a tracking number and the headphones arrived 2 days later. Total price paid at the end of all this was $232.00. Oh, and the headphones are brilliant!
