Unless there’s an obscure reason why it must be a C1 specifically, the CS will be better and cheaper.

Agreed with the others, bad deal. At this price, better to get the CS model when it goes on special from JB for $2688. You will get the same thing with a C2 processor.
I bought one brand new in a box from JB a couple of weeks ago for $2280 - not sure what stock levels are like though
